Hank Williams Jr. Tickets - All Hank's Rowdy Friends Join 2010 Tour

Hank Williams Jr. once sang that all his rowdy friends had settled down, but Bocephus has riled up quite the slew of amigos for a 2010 touring extravaganza. The aptly-titled and much-anticipated Rowdy Friends Tour, which kicks off on April 2 in Charleston, W.Va. and stars Hank Jr. himself, joins together some of country music's most vivacious traditional-tinged acts, including honky tonk hero Jamey Johnson, newcomer Eric Church and bluegrass maestros the Grascals.

It's no surprise that Hank Williams Jr.'s Rowdy Friends Tour includes the Nashville-bred bluegrass band the Grascals, as the six-piece outfit has recently teamed up with Hank on a number of songs, including "All the Roads Open to My Heart" (on Williams' most recent album) as well as "I'm Blue, I'm Lonesome" (on the Grascals' latest release). The Grascals' Southern bluegrass style complements Hank Jr.'s progressive-yet-traditional country music style, and the Southern-fried artists are only further enhanced on tour with the addition of "In Color" vocalist Jamey Johnson. The Rowdy Friends Tour also features contemporary hotshot Eric Church, completing the amalgam of country music styles on the smorgasbord of a tour.

Country music fans are already jumping on the chance to snag <a href="http://www.stubhub.com/hank-williams-jr-tickets/">Hank Williams Jr. tickets</a> to shows on the 2010 Rowdy Friends Tour, which includes dates in Charleston, W.Va. (April 2); Louisville, Ky. (April 3); Bossier City, La. (April 9); Lafayette, La. (April 10); Pikeville, Ky. (April 17 – with the Grascals only); Nashville, Tenn. (April 23); Atlanta, Ga. (April 24); Tulsa, Okla. (May 7); Kansas City, Mo. (May and Enterprise, Ala. (June 4). Hank Williams Jr. will be selling out concert stadiums around the nation this year once again for a summer tour, and this is all business as usual for country music's biggest outlaw, who chalks it all up to being a 'family tradition.' As the son of renowned traditional country music megastar Hank Williams, the younger Hank grew up in the limelight of the country music industry, evolving into a career of his own in the 1970s.

Though his music took a more radical approach than his father's (his 1979 hit song "Family Tradition" explains the rift with the lyrics: "Country music singers have always been a real close family, but lately some of my kinfolks have disowned a few others and me. I guess it's because I kind of changed my direction – I guess I went and broke the family tradition,") Bocephus quickly became one of the most celebrated outlaw country music performers of the time. Palling around with other rambunctious country music legends like Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings, David Alan Coe and Willie Nelson, Hank Jr.'s own brand of boisterous country music caught like wildfire with Southern country junkies in the '70s and '80s.

Notching juke box sing-along classics like "Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound," "All My Rowdy Friends (Have Settled Down)," "Dixie on My Mind," "There's a Tear in My Beer" and "If the South Woulda Won," Hank Williams Jr. has carved an impressive career in the music industry, and he's not even close to hanging up his cowboy hat. The living legend is currently coming off the success of his 2009 release 127 Rose Avenue and its biggest-selling single "Red, White & Pink-Slip Blues," and Bocephus continues to be a heavy favorite on the touring circuit year after year.
